The Amphitheatre is located beside the Tongariro Domain on the banks of the Waikato River. A picturesque setting, with large mature trees, the grassed amphitheatre provides seating for approximately 15,000 people and has an outdoor stage.
This venue is home to regular community events including our popular Carols in the Park and New Years Eve Concerts. The Amphitheatre has also hosted the More FM Winery Tours with top NZ stars such as Bic Runga, Tim Finn, Dave Dobbyn, Gin Wigmore and Stan Walker as well as international headline bands.
