Two young Auckland cellists, Hyun Jae Lee and Qian Wan will present the midday concert on Friday, November 14.

The pair will be playing works by Shostakovich, D’vorak, Popper, Walton, Bach and Prokofiev and will be accompanied by pianist Rosemary Barnes.

Both are students of the highly successful and respected performer and teacher, James Tennant, and their visit helps extend the long-term association between Tennant and the Midday Concert series.

The concert runs from 12-1pm at St Andrew’s Church, 91 Tītīraupenga Street, Taupō, $10 entry, cash only.
