Midday Concerts

The Midday Concert series has been running in Taupō in one venue or another since the 1980s. It provides performance opportunities for local musicians as well as bringing the best available national and international performances to Taupō, with door prices that are kept as low as possible. Once expenses for the venue and advertising are accounted for, takings are given to the performers or the representative groups they belong to. Saint Andrew's Anglican Church is a wonderful space in which to play, being well designed acoustically and with seating that gets the audience right up close to the performers.
