I’m Gary, or Mr Tuba to many of my friends. My main instrument is the Eb Bass, part of the Tuba family. I have been playing since I was 11 years old growing up brass banding in the UK.
I am also an experienced conductor and private youth music teacher. My current musical commitments include a variety of music groups including Taupō Brass, Te Awamutu Brass, Taupō Concert Band and the Trust Waikato Symphony Orchestra. I am passionate about youth in music as it is such a foundation for life.
