Now’s your chance to see if that dream is a reality on ‘Taupō’s got Talent’.
Taupō Timebank is running an open mic afternoon over the summer, every Saturday from November 21 until late February.
From 10am to 12noon the stage will be open to kids acts (five acts of up to 15 minutes each) followed by a chance for adults to wow the crowd from 12noon to 3pm, (local bands and open mic sign-ups on the day).
A sausage sizzle will be operating with wood fired pizzas and drinks also available.
The Timebank Community Gardens are next to Spa Park at 250 Spa Road.
If the weather is wet, performances will be staged in Rotary House undercover, at the same time and with the same operating procedure.
