Free capability-building workshops for not-for-profit groups

The Taupō District Council Community Development team is excited to be offering two free capability-building workshops.

The Taupō District Council Community Development team is excited to support local not-for-profit groups and organisations by offering two free capability-building workshops.

Strengthen your skills, support effective storytelling, and help extend your community reach.

These workshops are facilitated by Kyle Mulinder, better known as BareKiwi, an experienced storyteller who works with global brands including Ford, GoPro, Jayco and PADI. Kyle provides practical, easy-to-apply tools to help you create engaging content that resonates with your audience.

When:

Tuesday February 24: 5.30pm – 7.30pm at a central Taupō venue

or

Wednesday February 25: 1.30pm – 3.20pm at a central Taupō venue

 Register:

Email: community@Taupō.govt.nz  and please state which workshop you would like to attend (Tuesday evening or Wednesday afternoon)

Spaces are limited, register early.

The workshop covers:

  • Social media best practices
  • How to create engaging posts, reels, and stories
  • Phone photography and video tips
  • Easy editing using popular apps
  • How to boost reach and engagement organically

This workshop is suitable for all skill levels, designed specifically for community and not-for-profit organisations, and full of practical tips you can use straight away.
