As part of the Rūaumoko: Restless Land exhibition, Taupō Museum & Civil Defence Taupō are hosting a series of free (for locals) interactive workshops exploring earthquakes, volcanoes, and how we can be better prepared for natural hazards in our region.

Each session includes:
A 30-minute Hazards & Emergency Preparedness talk with a Civil Defence experts (and spot prizes!)
A 30-minute guided tour of the Rūamoko exhibition and the lakefront carvings, bringing local geology and stories to life
Every Thursday | 5 February – 19 March

Schools: 10.30 – 11.30am (bookings essential)
General public: 1 – 2pm (bookings and walk-ins welcome)

Presented by Pip Dixon (Emergency Management Adviser) and Jeffrey Addison (Programmes & Events Co-ordinator)
